As Larsen’s President and CEO, Mr. Shrivastava is responsible for business development and overall performance of the Larsen Office. He is known across the state and internationally for his vast knowledge and experience in water, wastewater, environmental design and renewable energy processes. He has over 40 years experience and expertise in planning, design and construction of projects related to the environmental disciplines. Mr. Shrivastava has a passion for sustainability and has been thinking and promoting “Green” for much of his career.

Mr. VanAlst joined Larsen Engineers in 1973. Since that time, he has used his experience and expertise in the roles of Design Engineer, Project Engineer and Project Manager. He brought to this position first-hand knowledge of all aspects of highway and bridge engineering for the Department of Transportation, Thruway Authority and various counties. He also directs Larsen’s Highway Department using his distinct talents and managerial ability in all State Agency Highway Design and Construction Inspection work. His involvement in projects has not only covered the Upstate New York area, but also as far reaching as Hawaii. He began his current position as Executive Vice President at Larsen in 1986. He also continues to provide services as Town Engineer for several communities in the Rochester area.
